The Howard Hall Community Center is back….. fully open and once again serving the community!

Letter from Howard Hall Association President:

Dear business owner,

The Howard Hall Community Center is a Colorado State registered non-profit tasked with the oversight and day-to-day operation of the Howard Hall Community Center In Howard Colorado.

Periodically, we hold fundraisers to help raise money to maintain and improve the Community Center and introduce new programs to the community such as our free computer classes for the technologically challenged, vaccination clinics, senior dance classes, monthly community luncheons and neighborhood business symposiums. We are also serve as the meeting place for many of our other local community associations and groups. 100% of the proceeds from this event, including the auction items, will go towards the ongoing maintenance and improvements needed for the Community Center

Our next upcoming community activity is our annual Oktoberfest celebration which will be held on Saturday, October 7th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Howard Hall. We will feature a traditional Oktoberfest menu, music, prizes, silent and live auctions and fun for the community.

We’d like to invite you to participate in the activities through a donation of goods or services to be included our silent or live auctions. Any service or item donation, small or large is very welcomed and greatly appreciated. Along with your generous donation, we would be pleased to display your related business cards, flyers or brochures during the event as well as include your business name in our display ad in the Mountain Mail newspaper as well as in our Facebook page and website so our attendees can be aware of your generous support and hopefully return the favor through their continued patronage.

AND don’t miss our 3rd Annual “Kids Only” live Auction!

It’s greatly through the wonderful support of local businesses such as yours that allow us to continue offering community programs and support!

Thank you so very much,
David Van Nattan

Update on 2018 Mexican Dinner & Silent Auction

By Announcement

The Howard Hall Community Center is located at 5410 County Rd 45, Howard CO 81233

The Howard Hall Community Center (HHCC) belongs to the community and is maintained by the Howard Hall Association (HHA). The HHCC is available for a minimal fee for weddings, birthday & anniversary parties, meetings, computer classes, dance classes, public speaking events etc. If you are interested in booking the HHCC go to our HowardHall.org website and click on the ‘Reserve the Hall’ link.

To help maintain the Hall with the monthly expenses and maintenance, the HHA has several fundraisers during the year. A Mexican Dinner and Silent Auction held every year in February, in the fall a Chili or Spaghetti Supper, and on July 4th – an old fashioned Community BBQ is held as a THANK YOU to the community for their support. We hold the BBQ in conjunction with the Western Fremont Historical Society (WFHS). At this BBQ the WFHS gives a riding tour of old Howard on an old fashioned Trolley Car. We also have for the kids and adults a ‘Barrel Train’ that gives rides. Not to mention the food!!!

This Community BBQ starts on July 4th at 11 am – 3 pm so that you still have time to get to your favorite spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks.

You can also help with maintaining the Hall with the monthly expenses and maintenance, with sending your donation to the Howard Hall Association at P.O. Box 92, Howard, CO 81233

For more information or if you would be interested in volunteering to be on the HHA board, contact Howard Hall Association President: Norm Stegeman 719-484-9956.
